On behalf of the Committee and The Arts Society membership in Wellington, thank you very much indeed for the fascinating lecture Medical Gold: from Ancient Egypt to the Nobel Prize that you gave us last week.  You took us on an amazing, colourful journey as you explained the role and mystique of the precious metal in art and society with wit and insight – and your images were superb!   Your stimulating lecture was thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated by all members – indeed many said afterwards that it was one of the best ever. It was also a pleasure to have you and Christine with us in Wellington.
